The Mission:
To honor our grandparents and preserve the names and stories of the “unknown soldiers.”
This is my great-great-great grandpappy, James Allen Barnett. He enlisted to defend the Southland and served as a Private in the 9th Regiment, Tennessee Cavalry. He was a Prisoner of War after the Battle of Nashville. His legacy is that for generations, no men in the family would wear any blue article of clothing. He was a hardworking farmer. May his memory be eternal.
